General:
Make sure
you check your newsletter every Monday. It will be
emailed to you or you can get it on this page above. (Sharkbytes)
Please be at practice early
enough to have your fins and kickboards ready before
practice starts.
Friendly Reminder:
No parents are allowed on deck. We appreciate
your cooperation in this matter. Insurance
rules dictate that only Swimmers,
Coaches, and Board Members are allowed on deck during
practices. Also,
please do not attempt to talk to
your swimmer or coach during practice. Talk to a board
member if you need
anything and they will help you.
The coaches will be happy to talk to you after practice.
Equipment:
Team suits are required for the fall/winter
season. Caps and goggles are required for meets.
Stacey Ripp is our equipment
manager. Please label all your belongings so we can return
them to you if lost.
Fund Raisers:
Fee is included on your bill. Raffle tickets will be
issued to recover part of your fee.
USA Meets: Posted
on the USA meets page. If you would like to go to any
other meets on your own,
see Sue or coach Gary for help.
Miscellaneous: Please sign up in
Coach Bill's book a week before any meet. Your entries
will be
posted by the bleachers on Monday the week of
the meet. Note that all swimmers are required
to swim a certain number of dual meets to be
eligible for conference. Please be on deck by 5:45pm
for all dual meets away or at home!
Volunteer Obligations: We need every
family to work home meets every season.
Timer assignments will be at the pool. We need
concession stand workers as well. If you cannot work
your assigned meet, please let a board member
know ASAP.
New timers will
be paired with an experienced timer. We cannot run a meet without timers -
Timers
are a very important part of our meets and
your help is greatly appreciated!
We have a suggestion box at the pool. Please feel free to
write down any comments or suggestions
and drop them in the box if you cannot approach a
board member directly.
